Dip Ingredients

  • 14 ounces artichoke hearts, drained and chopped (255 grams)
  • 10 ounces frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained (283 grams)
  • 1 cup sour cream (227 grams)
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise (56.5 grams)
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened (113.5 grams)
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated (25 grams)
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, grated (56.5 grams)
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/21 teaspoon salt
  • 1/81/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Set your oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit (163 degrees Celsius) to get it ready for baking the dip.
  2. Mix the Base: In a mixing bowl, blend together the sour cream, mayonnaise, and softened cream cheese until smooth and well combined.
  3. Add Vegetables and Seasonings: Stir in the chopped artichoke hearts, thawed and drained spinach, Parmesan cheese, mozzarella cheese, Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Mix thoroughly and adjust salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Transfer to Baking Dish: Pour the combined mixture into a 2-cup capacity baking dish and cover it, preparing it for baking.
  5. Bake the Dip: Place the covered dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25 to 30 minutes, until the dip is heated through and bubbling.
  6. Serve: Remove the dip from the oven and serve warm with bagel chips, pita chips, or fresh vegetables for dipping.

Notes

  • Be sure to drain the frozen spinach thoroughly to avoid excess moisture in the dip.
  • Use freshly grated Parmesan and mozzarella cheese for the best flavor and texture.
  • You can adjust the cayenne pepper amount to control the level of spiciness.
  • If you prefer a thicker dip, bake uncovered for the last 5 minutes to allow some moisture to evaporate.
  • This dip can be prepared in advance and baked just before serving.
