These Oreo Balls are a delightful no-bake treat combining crushed Oreo cookies and creamy cream cheese, coated in melted chocolate. Perfect for parties, holidays, or anytime you want an easy, indulgent dessert.

Ingredients

Scale

Base

  • 36 Oreo cookies
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)

Coating and Toppings

  • 12 oz semisweet or white chocolate (melted)
  • Optional toppings: crushed Oreos, sprinkles, or drizzle of white/dark chocolate

Instructions

  1. Crush Oreos: In a food processor, crush the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs. Reserve 2 tablespoons if you want to sprinkle some on top later.
  2. Mix with cream cheese: In a bowl, mix the crushed Oreos with the softened cream cheese until fully combined into a thick dough.
  3. Form balls: Scoop and roll into 1-inch balls. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Chill: Freeze the balls for 20–30 minutes until firm.
  5. Dip in chocolate: Dip each ball into the melted chocolate, letting excess drip off. Place back on the parchment-lined sheet.
  6. Decorate: While the coating is still wet, sprinkle with crushed Oreos or toppings of choice.
  7. Set: Refrigerate for at least 15–20 minutes, or until the chocolate is set.

Notes

  • You can use either semisweet or white chocolate for coating based on your preference.
  • Make sure the cream cheese is softened to mix evenly with the crushed cookies.
  • Refrigerate the balls well before dipping to help maintain their shape during the chocolate coating.
  • Optional toppings add extra texture and visual appeal but can be omitted.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
